Frequently asked questions
Everything worth knowing before you resize a PDF here.
help
Will resizing distort or crop my pages?
No. The existing content is scaled to fit the new page size proportionally — nothing is cropped or stretched out of proportion.
help
What's the difference between a standard and a custom size?
Standard sizes (A4, Letter, and the rest of the ISO A/B/C series) use real, fixed dimensions. Custom lets you enter any width and height in millimeters instead.
help
Does the Output Quality option resize the pages too?
No — that's a separate, optional pass that only affects the resolution of images embedded in the PDF (useful for shrinking file size), independent of the page dimensions.
help
Is my PDF safe when I use this tool?
Yes. Your file is used only to produce the resized PDF you download — it isn't stored afterward, and no one else can access it during the process.
help
What's the largest PDF I can resize?
PDFs up to 1 GB are supported. Most documents — even long, text-heavy ones — stay well under that; it's mostly scanned or image-heavy PDFs that get close to the limit.
